things to look forward to…
and back again.
Last December I meet an innocent yet adventurous and strong young woman looking for a piece of paradise in my part of the world. I learned so much about her by watching her experience things for the first time. Her wide-eyed wonderment reminded me that there are truly genuine people in this world.
Zip forward two months, now becoming a wife to an equally interesting young man, she is my 10 hour bride. She never fails to inspire or shy away from my artistic suggestions.
Another three months pass and now I am on her coast of the country. I am unfamiliar with Long Island traditions, but she as my equal, shows me things I have never seen before. Together we capture the joy and tears of long distance clients.
Now in less then two weeks I will have my partner in all things skillfully caught between our apertures. I look forward to her serene way of listening to every word like you are the only person in the room and her graceful method of finding a good angle.
Soon I will reunite with my friend Rachel.

I hope to meet up with Rachel again sometime, I wish it could be in Hawaii. Good luck with your renewing, refreshing and exploring. If you have any insights on improving the quality of life please share your findings. My big thing for 08 is my own wedding.
Have fun, my friends – Rob

Marina, as I said to you via email, I can’t thank you enough for these words of encouragement. We are going to have SUCH a great time.
And hi, Rob! I wish you and Lou could come meet us there. Maybe some last-minute amazing fares will pop up?

Saving for a wedding rules all but the most ‘truly amazing’ airfares out
Not to mention 1 wedding and a calendar shoot to process and 4 weddings to shoot this month…
…maybe next year?
